An old hand-carved wood Ashanti stool, likely from Ghana.
It measures approximately 19" long x 9-3/8" wide x 11" tall at the tallest point.
This is a well-used stool. It has great patina. The corners are worn from use, there are old nicks and a broken section in the middle column. Otherwise it is solid, usable and appears to have been carved from one piece of wood.
From the early part of the 20th century.
